Well since I'm not assigned to any regions I guess I'm not allowed to participate.

I'll just wait for the next one to come, after all I only registered recently (less than a month ago, on Jan 13th), so it's only natural for me and people I planned to be in a team with to still not get assigned to a region; the staff here seems to be really busy so it's understandable.

I added all the new members who are not aligned with a region to Free Lancer list or whatever that is. I might've missed someone or used a wrong link but who cares. PM me if you want to join a region. Teams will have to be consulted with the region leader though.

Most of us (at least EU people whom I asked about it) thought that the administration of this site is going to assign us to the regions, because an earlier post by a moderator stated:

We'll come up with a way, though, to evenly distribute you all into each region, so leave it to us.

and so I  thought it's implied that we don't need to anything to get assigned to a region.

I guess it's the main reason many people are still waiting for the region assignment, it these assignments are performed on a per request basis.

I sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding/misreading; my English knowledge seems to be completely inadequate when it comes to understanding such posts.

I'm pretty sure I'm partly at fault for that. When me and Marine were starting the site, we were debating whether or not to assign region listings, or give the user a choice between Regions.

So far we've accepted the people who asked and if anybody wants us to select for them, we could do that as well.
